Chief Technology Officer

LHH is seeking a Chief Technology Officer for a privately held organization. This is a highly visible opportunity for a hands-on technology executive who can set strategy, lead enterprise transformation, and stay close to the technology.

What You’ll Do

• Lead enterprise technology strategy and operations

• Drive cloud, infrastructure, security, applications, and data initiatives

• Oversee enterprise systems and technology modernization

• Advance AI, automation, and process transformation

• Lead and develop a multi-functional technology organization

• Manage strategic technology investments, budgets, and vendor relationships

What We’re Looking For

• Senior-level CIO, CTO, VP, or equivalent technology leadership experience

• Strong hands-on cloud and infrastructure expertise

• Experience with complex enterprise systems and integrations

• Track record leading modernization, automation, and AI initiatives

• Broad knowledge across infrastructure, security, applications, and data

• Executive-level communication skills with a decisive, hands-on leadership style

Location: Sacramento, CA preferred

Employment Type: Direct Hire

Compensation: $400,000–$500,000 base salary + performance-based incentive opportunity
