Logistics Business Improvement – Data Analytics | Global Supply Chain

We’re looking for a Logistics Business Improvement, Data Analytics professional to support a fast‑moving Commercial Supply Chain organisation. This is a highly technical, hands‑on analytics role for someone who thrives in dynamic environments and enjoys turning complex logistics data into real‑time, actionable insights that drive business decisions.

 

What You’ll Do:

·         Serve as the Logistics Data Analytics SME, developing analytics that improve transparency in transportation and logistics costs

·         Design, build, and enhance Power BI dashboards spanning multiple timelines, workstreams, and KPIs

·         Translate business and reporting needs into standardized reporting processes, metrics, and dashboard frameworks

·         Deliver end‑to‑end analytics projects within defined timelines, from requirements to deployment

·         Execute exception reporting, root‑cause analysis, benchmarking, and performance comparisons

·         Analyse carrier performance, rail maintenance, truck retains, runouts, and overfills

·         Support global logistics and cross‑functional teams with daily analytics and insights

·         Collaborate with IT to execute SAP system and data structure enhancements

·         Build and maintain SharePoint or similar collaboration/data environments

·         Communicate findings, recommendations, and project status to stakeholders and business leaders

 

What You Bring:

·         Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, MIS, or a business‑related field

·         Strong experience in Commercial Supply Chain, Transportation, or Logistics analytics

·         Advanced technical skills in Power BI (DAX, Power Query), SQL, Tableau, and Alteryx

·         Working knowledge of SAP (SD / S/4 HANA preferred)

·         High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint

·         Proven ability to adapt quickly, self‑learn new tools, and solve complex problems independently

·         Strong analytical, organizational, and attention‑to‑detail skills

·         Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities

·         Comfortable balancing strategic priorities with hands‑on execution

·         Self‑starter mindset with the ability to influence change and drive continuous improvement



Pay Details: $67.00 to $70.00 per hour
