Actuary

This is a unique opportunity to join the European headquarter of a highly qualitative insurance company. Working together with an international team of actuaries and closely with a business analyst, you will provide actuarial input in various rectifications projects and make sure that the policies currently managed are in line with the provisions made.

Your Responsibilities

• Build, perform and check remediation calculations, working closely with the customer services and change manager, to respond to internal and external inquiries. 
• Suggest, write and review documented solutions such as calculation specificities, audit trail ...
• Handle project and policy level queries relating to calculations

Your Profile 

• Master’s degree in actuary sciences with a first experience of 2-5 years in the insurance sector, ideally in project changes using Agile methodologies.
• Strong Excel skills, VBA/Access/Python/SQL are considered as a strong asset.
• Excellent communication skills, strong analytical mindset, solution focused.
• Knowledge of life insurance, pension or investment products
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, with a strong commitment to going the extra mile to ensure timely and high-quality outcomes
