Central Planner - Temporary assignment

Our client, a global solutions provider in the manufacturing sector, based near Contern is looking for a Central Planner to start as soon as possible. This is a temporary contract that may lead to a follow-up opportunity within the company.

Your responsabilities :

• Manage order confirmations and lead times in planning tools, including urgent requests and follow-ups.
• Maintain product data in planning systems (creation, updates, and performance settings).
• Coordinate production flows across sites (order allocation, purchase orders, and system updates).
• Prepare and contribute to weekly production planning meetings by reviewing data, adjusting priorities, and tracking actions.
• Monitor delays, identify root causes, and update delivery commitments accordingly.
• Support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) by providing capacity and lead time insights and ensuring decisions are implemented.
• Identify supply risks and help define contingency plans to avoid disruptions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, including workload balancing, process optimization, and support to inventory processes (VMI).

Your profile :

• Customer-oriented, with a proactive and solution-driven mindset.
• Strong communication skills, able to work effectively across teams and cultures.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data for decision-making.
• Advanced Excel skills are required (e.g. pivot tables, data analysis).
• An experience with SAP and OMP+ is preferred.
• Organized, reliable, and able to manage priorities under pressure.
• Team player with the ability to work independently when needed.
• Good understanding of supply chain, production, or manufacturing processes.
• Fluent in English; additional languages and/or supply chain certifications are an advantage.
