Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

On behalf of our client, a small dynamic company with a strong market position and solid financial foundations, we are seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

The role will be responsible for Administration, Finance and Control, coordinating one internal resource and ensuring proper oversight of the company’s financial processes.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of general accounting, accounts receivable and accounts payable
• Coordination of one administrative resource
• Management of relationships with banks and financial institutions
• Monitoring cash flow and financial position
• Support in preparing financial statements and tax obligations
• Financial reporting to the parent company
• Budgeting, forecasting and performance analysis
• Support to management in planning and control activities.

Your Profile

• Degree in Economics, Finance or related disciplines
• Proven experience in Finance, AFC or CFO roles, preferably within SMEs
• Strong knowledge of administrative, accounting and financial processes
• Experience managing banking relationships
• Excellent Excel and reporting skills
• Fluent spoken and written English
• Hands-on approach and operational autonomy
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Accuracy, reliability and stakeholder management skills
• Experience in private equity-backed companies or structured groups considered a plus.

• Collective Labour Agreement: SME Metalworking Industry
• Level: Quadro (Middle Management)
• Gross Annual Salary: €65,000 – €80,000 depending on experience and competencies.

Location: Northern Province of Bologna, Italy
