Field Service Technician – Biomethane Plants

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading international company operating in the renewable energy sector, specializing in innovative biomethane upgrading solutions.

As a Field Service Technician , you will play a key role in ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of biomethane plants. Following a structured onboarding program, you will take ownership of a dedicated portfolio of customers within your assigned region, building long-term relationships and becoming their trusted technical point of contact.

Responsabilità

Key Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, corrective, and scheduled maintenance on biomethane upgrading plants.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and process-related issues.
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems, instrumentation, sensors, actuators, and field devices.
• Service compressors, pumps, valves, and other industrial equipment.
• Support plant commissioning, upgrades, and performance optimization activities.
• Complete digital service reports and technical documentation.
• Plan and prepare spare parts and materials required for scheduled maintenance.
• Provide technical support to customers while collaborating closely with the Service Manager and technical support teams.

Profilo

Requirements

• Technical qualification or degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• Previous experience in industrial maintenance or field service.
• Solid understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Basic knowledge of PLCs, variable frequency drives, instrumentation, and process control systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively.
• Customer-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
• Willingness to travel, with an average of up to 10 overnight stays per month.
• Valid driver's license and legal authorization to work in the country.
