This is a unique opportunity to join a prominent player in the French Investment Funds space, specialising in the hospitality sector. You will join a small, high-impact team, based across several European destinations, and will work directly with the local Portfolio Manager, mainly at deal level, gaining in-depth exposure. Your Responsibilities
- Participate in asset management of real estate equity and debt investments across different European jurisdictions
- In charge of the regular reporting process (e.g. deal performance, quarterly valuations, asset presentation…) and deliverables for investors and senior management
- Conduct financial analysis and present strategic recommendations to senior management (e.g. acquisition opportunities, CapEx analysis, divestments impacts…)
- Work closely with the in-house experts and coordinate the external advisors on technical, investment, tax, accounting, and legal matters to comply with all duties and deadlines requirements
- Liaising with external auditors and address any matters or auditor's recommendations raised within the required deadlines
- Responsible to conduct the disposal process (selection of brokers, in charge of the coordination of the due diligence phase, calculation of definitive purchase price…)
- Participate, from time to time, in investment projects along with the deal team in charge of on-boarding of new transactions
Your Profile
- Master’s in finance or equivalent
- Experience in an investment/portfolio management team and/or in a Big Four (Transaction Services, valuation, and business modelling)
- Relevant work experience of a minimum of 3 years
- Experience in financial valuation and business modelling and a strong understanding of finance and accounting matters
- Good knowledge of the real estate industry, especially in the hospitality market would be considered an advantage
- Strong Excel modelling and PowerPoint presentation skills
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Able to comply with tight deadlines
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Able to prioritise and manage own time efficiently to comply with internal and external deadlines
- Able to travel 30% of working time to Paris, and London and to visit assets
- Strong communication skills in English & French. Any additional language would be considered a plus
