Your Responsibilities

• Handle different regulatory matters, and specifically:
  
  • fund setups, including involvement from the outset of a file in the structuring of the fund, to managing complex closings with side letter review and issuance of legal opinions
  • investor due diligence, including review of fund documents, issuing due diligence reports and assisting the investor with the negotiation of the fund documents, side letters and legal opinions
  • regulatory work, such as setup of MiFID firms, AIFMs, Depositaries or Fund Administrations
• Play a role in coaching and mentoring junior team members, supervising trainees, and nurturing talent within the team

Your Profile 

• European barrister with a minimum of 5-year experience as a funds lawyer, with a law firm or in-house in Luxembourg. 
• Fluent in French and English (written and spoken).
• A solid command of the regulatory legislation in Luxembourg.
• Project management skills to manage the setup of funds and the communication with the regulator
• Organized, multi tasks, open-minded, able to delegate, when necessary, autonomous.
• A recent criminal record will be requested to the selected candidate.
