Our client, a leading industrial group, is looking for its future Procurement Specialist – Hardware, Software & Cloud Integration. Specialised in large-scale IT and Telco environments, this permanent position offers a unique opportunity to manage end-to-end procurement processes across multiple technological domains, including hardware, software, and cloud solutions. You will play a key role in supporting strategic sourcing activities within international project teams. The position is based in the south of Luxembourg.

Responsibilities :
- Coordinate the full procurement lifecycle for IT & Telco projects: from sourcing strategy development to contract execution.
- Lead vendor selection and manage the tendering process to secure the best value in terms of quality, cost, and service.
- Drive digital procurement tools (e-RFQ, e-sourcing) and ensure compliance with procurement governance and timelines.
- Negotiate and draft contracts aligned with internal policies and global standards.
- Conduct supplier evaluations and obtain required approvals for purchasing decisions.
- Identify synergies and consolidate procurement needs to increase efficiency.
- Perform cost analysis, market benchmarking, and support strategic planning.
- Oversee contract and purchase order management in close collaboration with internal stakeholders.
- Manage procurement activities for assigned regional clusters, including subcontracting categories.
- Guide and coordinate the work of delegated buyers within the cluster.
- Contribute to the overall procurement planning and execution tracking.
- Develop expertise in one or more procurement domains and systems.
- Continuously share procurement knowledge and best practices with the team.
Profile :
- You hold a Master’s degree in Procurement, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- You have at least 3 years of professional experience in IT/Telco procurement, ideally in a multinational or industrial context.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills, particularly with Tier 1 hardware, Telco, or service providers.
- Proficient in SAP and advanced Excel; experience with e-procurement platforms (e.g. Ivalua) is a plus.
- Analytical mindset with a strong grasp of cost structures, market analysis, and TCO evaluation.
- Knowledge of quality management standards such as ISO 9001 is a plus.
- Effective communicator with leadership abilities and a collaborative spirit.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of additional European languages is a plus.
