Responsabilities:
You will lead and coordinate a team composed of customer service representatives (6 sales assistants) and key account managers (2 people), providing guidance through your expertise and leadership.
Commercial Development:
- Oversee commercial performance and ensure annual sales targets are met by implementing timely corrective actions when necessary.
- Define a clear mid-term strategic vision and effectively communicate it across the sales team to guide daily activities and decision-making.
- Ensure alignment between site sales forecasts and the company’s broader budgetary and strategic goals.
- Supervise the timely delivery of sales reports to key internal stakeholders.
- Foster a structured, methodical sales approach within the team, leveraging appropriate tools and processes.
Innovation & Business Growth:
- Support the identification, implementation, and monitoring of innovation projects in collaboration with R&D teams.
- Actively contribute market and client insights to inform R&D initiatives and strategic planning.
- Serve as a key liaison for deploying innovative solutions tailored to the specific needs of your portfolio.
Team Management & Leadership:
- Lead, coach, and support your team through regular feedback, tailored development plans, and a strong focus on skills enhancement.
- Cultivate a collaborative, performance-driven, and engaging work environment that enables your commercial team to thrive.
Technical Support & Client Growth:
- Work alongside the technical support function to deliver targeted programs aimed at boosting client retention, growth, and profitability.
- Build strong relationships with clients’ technical teams and equipment suppliers to anticipate market shifts and support future investment and development strategies.
Customer Experience:
- Oversee, through the customer service manager, a team dedicated to delivering outstanding service and enhancing client satisfaction.
- Ensure timely and accurate communication both to clients and internal teams, fostering close collaboration across departments to offer an exceptional customer experience and strengthen long-term partnerships.
Candidate Profile:
- University degree in economics, business, marketing, or engineering (Master’s level or equivalent).
- 5 to 7 years of proven experience in a similar role, preferably within an industrial environment. Experience in the agri-food sector is highly valued.
- Solid understanding of printing or packaging is a strong advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a diplomatic approach, strong negotiation ability, active listening, and a natural talent for uniting teams around shared goals.
- Organized and methodical, with strong time and priority management capabilities.
- Comfortable working under pressure, continuously striving to improve processes, with a strong sense of teamwork.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of SAP is a plus.
- Fluent in both French and English (spoken and written). Any additional language such as German, Italian, or Dutch will be considered an asset.
