Joining an in-house fund manager as a Legal Counsel you will provide legal support to the investment fund and assist in fund-related corporate aspects. You will be working in close collaboration with Lawyers and General Counsel on any legal, corporate, or compliance activities.

Your Responsibilities

• Legal & Regulatory Compliance:
  
  • Monitor and update policies to comply with evolving legal and regulatory requirements across multiple exchanges.
  • Assist in reviewing and drafting transactional and contractual documents.
• ESG & Reporting:
  
  • Manage ESG reporting obligations and ensure alignment with industry standards.
• Audit & Governance:
  
  • Lead internal audits and support audits of service providers.
  • Prepare board meeting minutes and assist with board pack preparation.
  • Coordinate share transaction reporting to regulatory bodies.
• Policy & Procedure Management:
  
  • Regularly review and update internal policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and compliant document storage systems.
• AML/KYC Compliance:
  
  • Assist with AML and KYC requests to meet regulatory standards.
• Loan Agreement Management:
  
  • Update loan agreements as necessary.
• Website Oversight:
  
  • Supervise updates to the company’s website to ensure compliance and accuracy.

Your Profile 

• Law degree & at least 5 years of Legal practice in a Consulting firm or an Asset-Manager
• Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements pertaining to the fund industry 
• Excellent written and verbal English skills
• Ability to operate effectively in an entrepreneurial, team orientated environment and take proactive action to identify and bring forward proposals to solve problems
• Excellent communication and social skills - ability to communicate effectively at all levels
