IT Specialist Platform Integration

Our client is a global leader in industrial automation.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Development, implementation, and documentation of integration concepts (workload automation, API management) for application, process, and data integration;
• Establishment of technical integration standards and reference architectures;
• Consulting internal and external stakeholders on the design and implementation of best-practice integration solutions (on-premises and cloud);
• Advise application support on the use of automation processes within batch production;
• Experience in batch processing and scheduler management (BMC Control-M);
• Developing and customizing scripts to support automation;
• Support in administration, monitoring and operation of the integration systems, incl. on-duty.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Successfully completed degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a comparable qualification
• Experience administering Linux and Windows server environments and deploying server-based applications
• Several years of experience in Integration Services, especially Workload Automation/Job Scheduling and API Management
• Strong knowledge of modern architectures and web technologies (REST, XML, JSON)
• Knowledge of the business processes of manufacturing companies as well as the relevant application platforms
• Very good analytical and conceptual abilities. Strong service orientation with effective communication and facilitation skills
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
• Confident, resilient, and collaborative team player
• Experience working with SAP systems is an advantage
