Legal Counsel - Commercial / IP

Our client, a global leader in manufacturing, is seeking a qualified in-house solicitor to join their UK and European Legal team. Joining an experienced and well-respected UK team, you will provide expert legal advice and support on both IP and general commercial matters.

Responsibilities:

• Support the Legal Team (Senior Legal Counsels) by drafting, reviewing, and interpreting contracts with a specific focus on intellectual property.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders by drafting and reviewing a variety of intellectual property agreements to support research and development.
• Contribute to projects with an intellectual property focus.
• Work with patent attorneys and the legal team to deliver training sessions when necessary.

Requirements:

• Qualified solicitor with 1-4 years of experience in drafting and negotiating commercial and IP agreements. This can be gained from either an in-house or private practice environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Passion for excellence, taking personal responsibility, and achieving results.

This role will be based at our client's Lancashire offices with hybrid working as standard. They package on offer is both competitive and commensurate with market rate, incl. robust salary and additional benefits.
