Our client based in Ipswich (hybrid working - 3 days a week in the office) are seeking a Debt Recovery Manager to join them in a permanent position, based on skills and relevant experience the salary is between £50-55k + bonus (15-30%) + benefits.


You must be an experienced Credit Manager or Finance Manager (Debt Related experience) who has led and developed a small team (4) in the past to be considered for this role. Experience within utilities or debt management industries would be ideal as well as successfully minimising exposure to bad debt. You must have had exposure to legal processes, contractual disputes and liability, a strong understanding of risk mitigation and management as well as partnering effectively with stakeholders and third parties.

To minimise exposure of bad debt proactively and re-actively through credit risk, collection of aged and complex debt, ensuring processes are fit for purpose and continually improving the way we do things to decrease risk of bad debt charge impacting overall business performance.

Process Review


Meetings with finance team, customers and stakeholders
