Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Interim Senior Legal Counsel to support their pharmaceutical business across the UK, EU, and international markets. This is a temporary position for a period of 3 months with the view to extend.


If you are a self-motivated and driven legal professional with a passion for the pharmaceutical industry, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a company dedicated to connecting health care professionals and patients.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide legal advice and support to the Rare business unit, ensuring an effective and efficient legal service.
  • Draught, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, including agreements with Pharmaceutical clients.
  • Review and amend existing contracts, ensuring compliance and managing associated risks.
  • Support the tendering process for clients across the EU, with a focus on France and Italy.
  • Assist with M&A and divestment activities, providing legal input for corporate transactions.
  • Keep up-to-date with legal developments and incorporate them into the organisation's practises.
  • Manage a team of Legal Manager and Legal Trainee.

Experience & Skills:


  • Qualified Lawyer with a professional practising certificate.
  • Experience advising within the EU and internationally.
  • Strong knowledge of individual countries' laws and current legislation.
  • Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Confidence in making decisions and influencing others.
  • Collaborative team player with personal resilience.
