LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with one of our clients looking to fill a Payroll Administrator job for the corporate office located in Alameda, CA. This position is 100% in-office! The ideal candidate will have 5 years of payroll processing experience. The role will be responsible for processing a bi-weekly payroll of 300 non-union employees, audit and review payroll, research and resolve any payroll inquiry, handle garnishments and timely process wage deductions, and assist with other duties and projects as assigned.


Qualifications:


- Strong Payroll experience processing a minimum of 200 employees


- Excellent overall payroll knowledge with wage and tax laws and correspond with state, federal, and local tax agencies agencies


- Industry experience in construction would be nice to have


- Solid knowledge of general accounting knowing your debits and credits


- Proficient with Microsoft Excel


- Good communications skills (written & verbal)


- Team player, helpful, and gets the job done


- Reliable, dedicated, and confidential


- Detailed, a problem-solver, and organized


Experience: 5 years of Payroll experience (Payroll Administrator, Payroll Specialist, Payroll Coordinator, Payroll Technician)


Compensation: $35.00– $40.00
