Chief Executive Officer

LHH is exclusively searching for a Chief Executive Officer for one of our non-profit clients in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This role will report to the Board of Directors and oversee all staff, projects, strategy, and goals of the organization. In this role, you will collaborate with organizations and legislators around the state and the country. This role offers 100% paid medical benefits, a competitive salary, and the ability to impact change and support healthcare organizations around the state of New Mexico.

Responsibilities:

Provide strategic leadership for the organization by working with the leadership team and the Board of Directors

Establish long-range goals, strategies, plans, and policies

Sit on Board of Directors; coordinate all board meetings, agendas, and follow up tasks

Manage and direct all activities and departments within the organization

Implement and carry out all policies established by the Board, and advise on the development, formation, and implementation of policies

Serve as Project Director for the organization’s funding, and oversee Project Director for specific grants

Oversee budget preparation, including operating budget with expected revenues and expenses

Assist in the recruiting process for new hires within the organization

Oversee all affairs of the organization in collaboration with the leadership team and the Board of Directors

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare, Management, or related field

MBA or Master’s degree preferred

10+ years of experience in healthcare

5+ years of experience in leadership at Director level or above

Experience with FQHCs, community healthcare centers, and/or non-profit healthcare

Experience working with legislators

Strong organizational skills

Strong collaboration skills, specifically with executive leadership, board members, and other associations across the nation

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico; onsite

Salary: $150k-$170k
