LHH is looking for a detail-oriented and patient-focused Patient Registration Specialist to join our client's healthcare team. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering excellent patient care. It is a full-time, contract to hire position in the Albuquerque, NM area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and register patients for appointments or hospital admissions

• Verify insurance and obtain necessary authorizations

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

• Schedule appointments and manage provider calendars

• Collect and process co-pays and billing information

• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure smooth patient flow

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in a medical registrar or patient access role preferred

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) a plus

• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional healthcare admin training a plus

Schedule: Mon-Fri either 6:45am-3:45pm or 7am-4pm. This position requires working 8-9 Saturday's a year that is on a rotational schedule.

Position Type: Contract to Hire, Full time
