Patient Registration Specialist

LHH is seeking an experienced Patient Registration Specialist for in Albuquerque, NM!

Responsibilities

Safeguards and preserves the confidentiality of patients protected health information.

Ensures a safe patient environment and adherence to safety practices

Strong Computer skills and Knowledge in Word, Excel, and ability to maneuvering through multiple screens in a timely manner

Insurance verification, collect payments and enter patient demographics into EMR

Stringent adherence to all HIPAA laws

Strong typing skills 45 and up wpm is required

Excellent Customer service and phone skills

Qualifications:

One year experience in a high-volume healthcare facility or medical office

High school graduate required or equivalent

Medical terminology strongly

Insurance and billing experience is a plus!

Spanish speaking is a plus!

The candidate will usually work 1 in 5 Saturday's. If they work a Saturday, then the week prior, they will have a day off of their choice.

15.75-16.75 Hr DOE

Onsite, Full Time

Contract to Hire |8-5, M-F, with Saturday rotation
