Staff Accountant in Albuquerque, New Mexico

LHH is currently searching for an Accountant in Albuquerque, NM. Our client is seeking an Accountant who is analytical with a self-starter attitude. This role offers competitive benefits and salary, plus you'll get to be a part of a collaborative and welcoming team!

Responsibilities:

Assisting with the month-end close

Performing accounts analysis and balance sheet reconciliations

Ensuring compliance with applicable standards, rules, and regulations, including GAAP

Journal entries, reporting, and audits

Accounts payable

Supporting the Accounting Manager with financial statements

Working closely with the rest of the accounting team

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree

1+ years of accounting experience

Experience with AP, GL, reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close

Bilingual a huge plus

Detail oriented with the ability to meet deadlines

A self-starter attitude

Salary: $53K-$67K

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm, 40 hours per week

Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico, hybrid work schedule
