Cash Accountant

Primary Responsibilities:

Initiate all domestic and international wire transfers to ensure all funds are processed, preparing them for the Treasury manager’s review.

Enter and upload all ACH requests, including but not limited to those submitted via email, the in-house log, and other channels into automated clearing house payment processor for the Treasury manager’s review.

Maintain and document all cash transactions for the day.

Assist in responding to internal customers discrepancies and addressing all transaction-related issues.

Responsible for recording wire transactions into the Accounting System.

Deposit manual checks into the bank.

Ensure wire forms are complete and accurate.

Assist with bank account reconciliations.

Back up to Corporate Cash Accountant.

All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

1-2 years banking experience preferred

2 years experience in Accounting

Proficient with Excel

Strong attention to detail

Strong analytical and problem solving skills

A superior work ethic

Desire to work collaboratively with colleagues

Excellent written and verbal communication skills
