Accounting Coordinator in Alsip, IL in Alsip, Illinois

We are seeking an individual for a permanent Accounting Coordinator position in Alsip, IL. The ideal candidate will have at least four years of accounts payable and accounts receivable experience and proficient Microsoft Excel skills. Responsibilities:

Codes accounts payable invoices with proper account information

Ensure the proper use and completion of forms and documents

Data entry in accounting software to prepare customer invoices

Ensure expense reports and credit card charges

Handle customer inquiries as needed regarding billing

Processes and reconciles various statements

Verifies supporting documentation for employee expense reports

Purchase orders to ensure timely processing

Assists with monthly financial close activities

Perform account reconciliations

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

At least four years of accounting experience

Knowledge of accounts payable processes

Intermediate Excel skills

Strong communication skills

Excellent interpersonal skills

Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
