We are seeking an individual for a permanent Accounting Coordinator position in Alsip, IL. The ideal candidate will have at least four years of accounts payable and accounts receivable experience and proficient Microsoft Excel skills. Responsibilities:

  • Codes accounts payable invoices with proper account information
  • Ensure the proper use and completion of forms and documents
  • Data entry in accounting software to prepare customer invoices
  • Ensure expense reports and credit card charges
  • Handle customer inquiries as needed regarding billing
  • Processes and reconciles various statements
  • Verifies supporting documentation for employee expense reports
  • Purchase orders to ensure timely processing
  • Assists with monthly financial close activities
  • Perform account reconciliations
  • Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • At least four years of accounting experience
  • Knowledge of accounts payable processes
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks
