LHH is looking for a proactive and technically skilled Project Engineer to support the end-to-end development of new and existing products—from concept and design to prototyping and full-scale production. This role is well-suited for an engineer who thrives in a dynamic manufacturing environment, enjoys tackling complex challenges, and is driven to optimize systems, products, and processes. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, maintenance, and quality to help bring innovative products to market and improve operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with manufacturing and maintenance teams to optimize processes, minimize waste, reduce downtime, and improve plant efficiency.
Support and lead aspects of factory automation initiatives and implement equipment and workflow improvements.
Create, update, and maintain engineering documentation including technical drawings, specifications, and standardized procedures.
Analyze production layouts and recommend enhancements to improve material flow and manufacturing performance.
Conduct capacity studies and recommend upgrades or new equipment to support growth and efficiency.
Continuously evaluate production operations, identifying opportunities for process optimization and cost savings.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing or process engineering role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Experience with 2D/3D CAD software (AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Solid understanding of manufacturing systems, materials, and component design.
Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively across departments
