Seeking a Contract Talent Acquisition Specialist for a great Manufacturing Company in Sandy Springs. If you are organized, sharp and great with managing responsibilities, this is the role for you! The TA Specialist will help to source candidates from Call Center to Managers to Engineers to Compensation people.

Essential Duties:

  • Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs in different markets and departments.
  • Determine selection criteria for candidates by liaising with managers and other members of staff.
  • Assist in sourcing applicants through a variety of channels.
  • Manage the applicant tracking system and ensure an effective and timely recruiting process with hiring managers.
  • Train hiring managers on the applicant tracking system and monitor progress daily.
  • Identify and refine down the most suitable talent from available candidates.
  • Provide value-added customer service to hiring managers throughout the recruiting cycle.
  • Provide input into overall hiring strategy of the organization to ensure our teams consist of a diverse set of qualified individuals.
  • Devise and implement sourcing strategies to build pipelines of potential applicants, such as employer branding initiatives.
  • Ensure a smooth transition from “candidate” status to new hire onboarding.
  • Create resources to support and coach hiring managers through the candidate experience.
  • Prepare weekly reports with recruiting metrics, position status and recommendations.
  • Attend industry, community, and university events to promote job opportunities at First Communities. Share promotional ideas with hiring managers and encourage their participation.
  • Build relationships with industry and educational professionals to develop additional sourcing strategies.
  • Comply with First Communities policies and performance expectations.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
  • 1-2 years recruiting experience or workforce development experience
  • Ability to develop relationships with candidates and hiring managers through excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to deliverables
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills providing effective communication with employees, peers, vendors, clients, and supervisors
  • Computer software experience to include MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook and applicant tracking systems
