LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for a Senior Capital Planning Analyst for a leading client in Auburn Hills. This role involves collaborating with senior management to assess capital investments, develop business cases and perform follow up reviews to ensure that expenditures result in desired financial outcomes and add value.

Key Responsibilities

• Working closely with manufacturing operations to approve capital projects

• Prepare thorough analyses to evaluate project cost assumptions

• Prepare decks for senior management to review proposals

• Maintain discounted cash flow analysis and capital appropriation software tools

• Perform reviews on approved projects to verify if expected financial results were achieved

• Analyze foreign currency exposures and recommend suitable hedging strategies

• Prepare month-end revaluations for foreign currency derivatives

• Assist with the annual insurance program renewal as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in accounting or finance

• 5 years or more of applicable experience

• Prior experience with capital appropriations, including discounted cash flow analysis

• Prior experience in an automotive plant or industrial environment

• Solid understanding of manufacturing operations and the ability to evaluate cost drivers

• Well versed in financial, accounting and economic principles

• Intermediate to advanced MS Excel Skills

• Solid cost knowledge and bill of materials
