LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an Accountant for and industrial services client in Auburn Hills. This role is responsible for managing core financial operations and reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of financial insights. The position supports both routine and ad hoc reporting needs, oversees asset and inventory tracking, and contributes to audit readiness and tax compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly financial statements and ensure timely close processes.

• Generate periodic financial summaries for leadership as directed.

• Track and report on cash flow activity to support liquidity planning.

• Maintain and post depreciation schedules for fixed assets.

• Compile and analyze inventory aging data to support operational decisions.

• Ensure adherence to internal financial controls and compliance standards.

• Record journal entries and reconcile accounts on a weekly and monthly basis.

• Maintain schedules for leased equipment and ensure accurate reporting.

• File monthly sales tax returns and support annual tax filings, including international requirements.

• Assist with year-end close activities and provide documentation for external audits.

• Review and process inventory adjustments within the ERP system.

• Coordinate and oversee annual physical inventory counts and related audit procedures.

• Support additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree in accounting or finance. MBA or CPA preferred

• 3-5 years of position related experience.

• Large ERP systems experience

• Intermediate level MS Excel- VLOOKUP’s, pivot tables, formulas

• Multi entity experience.

• Intercompany reconciliation/transactions.

• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
