Administrative Legal Assistant

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an Administrative Legal Assistant with a minimum of one year of legal office experience to support a prominent firm in Dallas, TX. This is a great contract-to-hire role with potential for growth and the opportunity to work with a results-oriented and dedicated team.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain attorney calendar
  • Maintain and update contacts lists and client files in appropriate databases
  • Collaborate with team members to locate and retrieve requested files
  • Assist in drafting fee letters
  • Client relationship management
  • Answer phones and record messages for attorney and/or paralegal as needed
  • Manage booking and other travel arrangements as requested
  • Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5-6 years of general office experience
  • Minimum 1 year legal office experience
  • Proficiency with word processing software such as Microsoft Excel and WordPerfect X8
  • Solid organizational and multi-tasking skills with high attention to detail
  • Ability to work overtime as needed is preferred
  • Willingness to learn new systems
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Professionalism at all times with clients and team members
