Position Overview
The Billing and Collections Analyst will play a critical role in managing the full billing cycle, ensuring timely invoicing, accurate collections, and maintaining strong client relationships. This role requires a blend of analytical skills, client service orientation, and a deep understanding of billing systems and financial controls.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and issue accurate invoices in accordance with client contracts and service agreements.
Monitor accounts receivable and proactively follow up on outstanding balances.
Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., sales, operations, finance) to ensure billing accuracy and resolve disputes.
Maintain and update billing records, aging reports, and client account data.
Analyze billing trends and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce DSO (Days Sales Outstanding).
Support month-end close activities including journal entries and reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with internal controls, tax regulations, and industry standards.
Qualifications
2–3 years of experience in billing, collections, or accounts receivable, preferably in a B2B or professional services environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
