Position Overview

The Billing and Collections Analyst will play a critical role in managing the full billing cycle, ensuring timely invoicing, accurate collections, and maintaining strong client relationships. This role requires a blend of analytical skills, client service orientation, and a deep understanding of billing systems and financial controls.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and issue accurate invoices in accordance with client contracts and service agreements.

  • Monitor accounts receivable and proactively follow up on outstanding balances.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., sales, operations, finance) to ensure billing accuracy and resolve disputes.

  • Maintain and update billing records, aging reports, and client account data.

  • Analyze billing trends and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce DSO (Days Sales Outstanding).

  • Support month-end close activities including journal entries and reconciliations.

  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, tax regulations, and industry standards.


Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience in billing, collections, or accounts receivable, preferably in a B2B or professional services environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks).

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
