Job Description:

LHH Recruitment Solutions is in search of a Human Resources (HR) Manager in the Austin, Texas area. The HR manager will oversee the department functions including hiring and interviewing candidates, payroll functions, benefits, employee leave, and implementing company policies and procedures. This is a contract position. 100% in office.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Interviews, hires, and trains new employees within the Human Resources department.
  • Provides employee feedback for performance evaluations in a timely manner.
  • Processes employee discipline and terminations in accordance with company policy.
  • Supervises the daily office functions of the department.
  • Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Proficient in writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to engage with different levels of personnel to negotiate and resolve conflict.
  • Proficient organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Skilled in analytical and problem-solving.
  • Appropriately delegates and prioritizes tasks.
  • Ensures integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Up to date and thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Capability to work in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree for Human Resources or related field is preferred.
  • At least three years of experience in human resources management is preferred.
