Are you looking to expand your HR skills? Do you reside in the North Austin area? LHH is currently searching for a knowledgeable candidate to take on the HR Specialist role. This is a contract to hire position with opportunities for growth. Our client is a well-known manufacturing company that is excited to be expanding their HR department.

Responsibilities:

  • Input and maintain the HRIS system’s files, and ensure they’re being sent to vendors
  • Oversee the database for employee relations, including but not limited to compensation, safety, and benefits
  • Ensure that compliance standards are being met through adequate training
  • Assist in implementation of employee relations through activities and events
  • Complete monthly reports to ensure compliance of company’s regulations
  • Process and update all worker’s compensation claims
  • Ensure uniformity of employee knowledge and communication through creation of informational documents
  • Compensation: $21-24/hour, depending on experience

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 2 years of HR experience required
  • Ability to start within one week
  • Skills:

  • Attention to detail
  • Strong communicator, both written and verbal
