Job Description:

LHH Recruitment Solutions is in search of an Administrative Assistant well versed in Human Resources office procedures in the Austin, Texas area. Applicants with clerical or secretarial experience with Human Resources background are encouraged to apply! This is a contract position working 100% onsite/in office.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Telecommunications skills will be utilized as in redirecting phones and taking messages.
  • Distributes office mail when received.
  • Schedules and organizes appointments; takes departmental meeting minutes.
  • May assist with preparation of human resource reports such as attendance, new hire, and turnover reports.
  • Works with different levels of leadership.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Extensive knowledge of office management systems and procedures.
  • Ability to operate general office equipment such as telephone, computer hardware, fax, etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) or similar software.
  • Ability to maintain confidential information.

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two years of administrative assistant experience is a plus.
