LHH is seeking a Real Estate Legal Assistant for a full-time opportunity at a well-established firm in Austin, TX. This position will assist with administrative duties and various commercial transactions as well as some litigation matters. Position is full time with a great team and great benefits and compensation.


Primary Responsibilities:

  • Possess the ability to draft correspondence, memoranda, and other documents.
  • File documents with trial and appellate courts.
  • Consistently and professionally communicate with team, clients, vendors and firm personnel.
  • Possess a high level of awareness and protection of confidential information.
  • Review and follow up on deadlines and calendar appointments.
  • Coordinate and make necessary arrangements for meetings.
  • Possess the ability to effectively proofread documents.
  • Consistently complete assigned tasks as expected.
  • Willing and capable to offer assistance to others when needed.
  • Coordinate monthly billing to clients.

  • Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience in transactions and litigation matters
  • Strong organizational, communication, and writing skills.
  • Solid organizational skills, initiative, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and to juggle and prioritize multiple, competing tasks and demands in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of Word, Outlook and Excel is required.
  • Must have working knowledge of legal documents, formatting, table of contents, styles, track changes, inserting and labeling pdf documents and inserting into documents and converting pdfs.
