RECEPTIONIST/DATA PROCESSOR

A transportation company in Avenel, NJ is seeking a temp to permanent Receptionist/Data Processor to start immediately! This role is fully onsite with hours from 8:00AM to 5:00PM Monday through Friday. The qualified candidate should have at least 1 year of prior corporate office experience and strong technology skills, preferably from a trucking or transportation company.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Answering incoming phone calls, transferring calls and taking messages
  • Scanning paperwork in the system and uploading to the company database
  • Entering customer orders into the database
  • Keeping track of information in MS Excel
  • QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 1 year of corporate office experience
  • Professional phone demeanor and communication skills
  • Ability to learn new systems
  • Strong and accurate data entry skills
  • Reliable, detail oriented, and eager to learn a new industry
