Receptionist

RECEPTIONIST/DATA PROCESSOR

A transportation company in Avenel, NJ is seeking a temp to permanent Receptionist/Data Processor to start immediately! This role is fully onsite with hours from 8:00AM to 5:00PM Monday through Friday. The qualified candidate should have at least 1 year of prior corporate office experience and strong technology skills, preferably from a trucking or transportation company.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Answering incoming phone calls, transferring calls and taking messages

Scanning paperwork in the system and uploading to the company database

Entering customer orders into the database

Keeping track of information in MS Excel

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

At least 1 year of corporate office experience

Professional phone demeanor and communication skills

Ability to learn new systems

Strong and accurate data entry skills

Reliable, detail oriented, and eager to learn a new industry
