Title: Human Resources Manager

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an HR Manager with 3 or more years of HR experience from a manufacturing or supply chain background. The ideal candidate is well versed in all aspects of HR including recruiting, employee relations, and policy development and implementation. Candidate must possess a high level of professionalism, written and editing skills, and ability to handle sensitive information.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field required
  • Three to five (3-5) years of direct employee relations experience
  • Three to five (3-5) years of recruiting experience
  • Three years of experience operating HRIS software (Paycom experience preferred)
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office with emphasis on Excel
  • Able to deal with difficult, sensitive and confidential issues
  • HR experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred
  • Fluency in Spanish a plus
  • Must be able to work under pressure and manager a very busy desk

Responsibilities:

  • Acts as liaison between employee and management to answer questions regarding policies, practices & regulations
  • Handling difficult or complex employee relations issues and in resolving complaints or disputes
  • Manage recruiting; creating ads, screening candidates, conducting interviews, onboarding new hires
  • Providing technical guidance and direction to staff on the operation and maintenance of the HRIS systems including training on how to operate and optimize work in the system
  • Preparing, maintaining and updating employee data into the HRIS system
  • Processing and maintaining periodic reports of employee record data
  • Working knowledge of labor and employment laws in multiple states
  • Responsible for document control & attendance management
  • Maintaining records of site-specific training records and employee development
  • Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verification
  • Attends and participates in employee disciplinary meetings, termination, and investigations
  • Other duties assigned
