Job Title: Accounts Payable Manager

Location: Batavia, IL (Hybrid – 2 days onsite, 3 days remote)

Anticipated salary range: $140,000 - $150,000/year

Reports To: Senior Manager of Accounting

Are you a seasoned AP professional with a passion for leadership and global collaboration? We’re seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead a high-performing team in a dynamic, product-based environment. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Batavia, IL, with occasional international travel to India.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of 5–6 in Batavia and oversee a 70+ member offshore team in India

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements

• Drive process improvements and change management initiatives

• Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely, accurate invoice processing

• Monitor KPIs and service levels for onshore and offshore teams

• Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline AP operations

• Handle escalations and ensure stakeholder satisfaction

• Support strategic planning and financial governance initiatives

• Travel internationally to India annually or biennially

Qualifications

• 10+ years of AP experience in manufacturing, distribution, or CPG industries

• Strong SAP expertise

• Proven leadership in managing large, global teams

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills

• Deep understanding of AP processes and financial compliance

• Ability to drive results in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
