Job Title: Accounts Payable Manager
Location: Batavia, IL (Hybrid – 2 days onsite, 3 days remote)
Anticipated salary range: $140,000 - $150,000/year
Reports To: Senior Manager of Accounting
Are you a seasoned AP professional with a passion for leadership and global collaboration? We’re seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to lead a high-performing team in a dynamic, product-based environment. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Batavia, IL, with occasional international travel to India.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of 5–6 in Batavia and oversee a 70+ member offshore team in India
Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements
Drive process improvements and change management initiatives
Manage vendor relationships and ensure timely, accurate invoice processing
Monitor KPIs and service levels for onshore and offshore teams
Collaborate cross-functionally to streamline AP operations
Handle escalations and ensure stakeholder satisfaction
Support strategic planning and financial governance initiatives
Travel internationally to India annually or biennially
Qualifications
10+ years of AP experience in manufacturing, distribution, or CPG industries
Strong SAP expertise
Proven leadership in managing large, global teams
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
Deep understanding of AP processes and financial compliance
Ability to drive results in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
