Paralegal/Legal Associate I - Remote

LHH is seeking a remote Paralegal/Legal Associate I for our client in Beaverton, Oregon. We have a client looking to hire an entry-level Paralegal/Legal Associate I for a full-time temporary position. The candidate must be able to travel to the Beaverton office for the initial 2 days of training. This role is a one-year contract position but may be extended and/or converted to a permanent position. Our client is looking for an organized, positive, and proactive candidate looking to dive into the mass tort, personally injury, and worker’s compensation world.

Responsibilities:

Analyzing medical records and synthesizing pertinent information

Conducting client phone interviews and documenting evidence

Assisting in completion of court forms

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies or equivalent

Minimum 1 year of experience with review of medical records and/or legal documentation

Proficient in MS Office applications

Skills:

Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Strong written and oral communication skills

Excellent time management skills

Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organization

Experience in case management in a law office is preferred

Experience in project management is a plus

Experience with mass torts, worker’s compensation, personal injury, and disability reviews is a plus

Work Hours:

Monday - Friday

40 hours per week

Daily start time varying between 6:00 AM to 8:30 AM
