Paralegal – Temporary

LHH is seeking a Paralegal to join a fantastic law firm in Beaverton, Oregon! Do you have at least one (1) year of experience reviewing medical records for matters that include mass torts, personal injury, disability and workers compensation? Then this position may just be for you!

This role is for a full-time 1-year contract position, with the possibility of an extension of contract or even the opportunity to be hired on for a permanent position if it is a fit for both parties. This position requires the first 1 to 2 days of training to be held in person at the office in Beaverton, OR, but will ultimately be a fully remote position.

Responsibilities:

Conduct client interviews

Medical record review

Document evidence and complete court-approved forms for the litigation process

Required Experience and Skills:

· Bachelor’s degree in Paralegal Studies or equivalent

At least 1 year experience with review of medical records and/or completing legal documentation

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Preferred Qualifications:

Case management experience in a law office setting

Experience in mass torts, personal injury, disability and workers compensation

Bilingual (Spanish/English)

Work Schedule: starting hours vary between 6am-8:30am, 8-hour day

Hourly pay rate: $25/hr
