Accounting Manager

Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of accounting professionals
- Review all transactions, reconciliations, accruals, journal entries, and financial entries
- Facilitate month-end close and assist with audit
- Provide recommendations for streamlining and improving processes and systems
- Collaborate with finance and other departments
- Ensure proper SOX controls are implemented and adhered to by staff
- Ensure lease accounting guidelines for multiple locations are met
- Additional duties as the department and business may require
Qualifications
- 5+ years of applicable accounting experience
- 2+ years leading an accounting team
- Public Accounting (Big Four or National) and industry mix highly desired
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited institution required
- Master’s degree in Accounting preferred
- Active CPA required
Skills
- Working knowledge of ASC 842 accounting
- Operational experience with SOX controls
- High level understanding of U.S. GAAP
- Expert Excel including but not limited to PivotTable, XLOOKUP, Index Match, etc.
- NetSuite experience highly desired
