Job Title: Legal Assistant – Creditors' Rights / Bankruptcy
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Location: On-site (First 90 Days), then Hybrid (3 Days On-site / 2 Days Remote)
Salary: $75,000 – $90,000 annually
LHH is seeking a highly organized and dependable Legal Assistant with a specialization in creditors' rights and bankruptcy to join our client's team. This temp-to-hire position offers the opportunity to transition into a long-term role after an initial 90-day on-site period, followed by a flexible hybrid schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
Support attorneys with document preparation, court filings, and case management related to creditors' rights and bankruptcy matters
Maintain case calendars and deadlines
- Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel in a professional manner
- Proofreading and editing
Manage and organize legal documents and correspondence
Assist with billing and administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Legal Assistant or Legal Secretary, in bankruptcy or creditors' rights law
Strong organizational and time-management skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software
