Staff Accountant in Bellevue, Washington

LH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a strong and experienced Staff Accountant to join our client’s corporate accounting team based in Bellevue, WA! This position will support the Accounting and Finance department by performing day to day accounting tasks, account analysis, and month end closing activities. Responsibilities:

Perform all functions in accordance with applicable GAAP

Prepare accurate and timely journal entries ensuring an accurate general ledger reflecting all internal, external, and intercompany transactions

Reconcile all balance sheet accounts and bank accounts

Prepare monthly reconciliations of Intercompany related party receivables and payables

Assist in the preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements and reporting packages for all managed business units

Assist in the coordination of and preparation for financial audits

Contribute to the creation of budget reports and preparation of annual budgets

Assist Accounting management as needed to complete ad-hoc projects, month-end and year-end reports

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting

Minimum of years of accounting 2-5 years’ experience in gaming/hospitality environment, or large regional accounting firm, preferred.

Working knowledge of US GAAP

Familiarity with Shared Service general accounting processes

Previous experience with Microsoft Dynamics/Business Central or related accounting system preferable.

Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, including Pivot Tables).

Oracle POS PMS
