Job Title: Community Manager
Location: Onsite in Bend, Oregon
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation: $20–$30 per hour DOE
Employment Type: Direct Hire


About the Role:

LHH Recruitment is seeking an experienced Community Manager to oversee four affordable housing properties totaling 62 units, all located in close proximity in Bend, OR. This is a full-time, onsite, direct hire position ideal for someone passionate about housing stability and community well-being. If you have previous experience with permanent supportive housing, that is a HUGE plus for this role. Our client is motivated to hire!




Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operations across four properties, including leasing, rent collection, maintenance coordination, and resident relations.
  • Ensure compliance with affordable housing regulations, including HUD, LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), and other funding sources.
  • Maintain accurate records and complete required reporting for all funding programs.
  • Collaborate with service providers to support residents in permanent supportive housing.
  • Supervise maintenance staff and vendors to ensure high-quality service delivery.
  • Conduct regular property inspections and address issues proactively.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive community environment.


Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1–2 years of experience managing affordable, tax credit, or HUD properties.
  • Experience working with permanent supportive housing populations.
  • Strong understanding of compliance requirements and housing program regulations.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.


Pay Details: $20.00 to $30.00 per hour
