Health Coach - Direct Hire - Birmingham AL

LHH is seeking individuals passionate about helping individuals with reaching their health goals for our client in Birmingham! We provide phone support to members who are on their health journey with our health partners.

Overview:

• Direct-Hire

• Monday - Friday, standard business hours

• 100% onsite for 6 months - then will transition hybrid/remote

• Benefits include medical, dental, vision insurance, ample PTO/paid holidays, EAP, and other value-added benefits

Responsibilities:

• Working with individuals going through a 12-week program to improve their health habits

• Building rapport and excellent relationships with members, who are referred to this program from other lines of business

• Offering education and support related to stress management, healthy eating guidelines, exercise guidelines, etc.

• Health coaches will speak with 15 members per day

Who should apply:

• Individuals with a bachelor degree (required)

• Individuals with a NBC-HWC (National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach) (preferred)

  • Company will pay for this certification if the selected individual does not have it

• People who are empathetic, compassionate, have excellent communication skills and want to help others

• Candidates with backgrounds in social work, dieticians, case workers or related are welcome to apply

• Recent graduates who are seeking a career in Health Coaching are welcome to apply
