LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a skilled and motivated Family Law Litigation Legal Assistant for a confidential client. This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected legal team and provide critical support in a fast-paced family law practice. If you have a strong background in litigation support and a passion for helping families navigate complex legal matters, we want to hear from you.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and litigation support to attorneys handling family law cases
  • Draft, proofread, and file legal documents including pleadings, motions, subpoenas, and discovery
  • Manage case files, maintain calendars, and track court deadlines and hearing schedules
  • Coordinate communication with clients, courts, and opposing counsel
  • Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and court filings
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in sensitive family law matters

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a legal assistant, preferably in family law litigation
  • Strong knowledge of court procedures, legal terminology, and filing systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience supporting attorneys in divorce, custody, support, and domestic violence cases
  • Familiarity with local court rules and e-filing systems
  • Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply

Benefits:

Depending on the specific client, location, and role, the benefits may include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401k plan. Additionally, you may be eligible for paid leave including Paid Sick Leave or other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law, as well as Holiday pay where applicable.



Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $66,000.00 per year
