LHH is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant for a law firm in Birmingham, MI. This is an excellent opportunity for a legal professional with strong litigation or commercial litigation experience to contribute in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive litigation support to attorneys

  • Calendar court dates, deadlines, and manage docketing

  • Prepare, proofread, and file legal documents in state and federal courts

  • Manage expense reports and billing entries

  • Coordinate and schedule meetings, depositions, and court appearances

  • Maintain case files and assist in trial preparation

  • Communicate with courts, opposing counsel, and clients as needed


Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience as a Litigation Legal Assistant OR solid Commercial Litigation experience

  • Strong knowledge of court rules and e-filing procedures

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines under pressure

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal support software


Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary Range: $60,000 – $66,000 (commensurate with experience)

  • Bonuses: Mid-year and end-of-year bonus potential

  • Full-time, on-site role with opportunity for growth and development



Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $66,000.00 per year
