Our client is seeking immediate hires to assist the accounting team with accounts payable work-load due to busy season. This position is a temporary role for approximately 6 months creating a perfect opportunity to gain experience in Accounting and Finance.


Responsibilities:


  • Process accounts payable invoices
  • Reconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances
  • Charges expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice/expense reports and recording entries
  • Pays vendors by monitoring discount opportunities, verifying federal id numbers, scheduling and preparing checks, and resolving purchase order, contract, invoice, or payment discrepancies and documentation

Experience/Education:


  • High school diploma, college coursework, especially in accounting a plus!
  • Demonstrate good communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Basic MS Office skills
