Job Title: Buyer
Location: Bothell, WA Pay: $35-$40/hr depending on experience level Shift: Monday-Friday, 8 AM - 4:30 PM
Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Buyer to manage the procurement, tracking, and expediting of goods and services, including raw materials, equipment, tools, parts, and supplies. This role involves ensuring timely material delivery, maintaining procurement records, and supporting departmental metrics.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Schedule and track material deliveries based on aircraft modification and maintenance schedules.
Communicate with vendors to gather information on product pricing, availability, and delivery.
Prepare purchase orders and bid requests; negotiate and administer agreements within your authority.
Analyze price proposals and financial data to determine fair pricing.
Maintain procurement records and computerized inventories, addressing defective or unacceptable goods as necessary.
Expedite deliveries and resolve contract issues and complaints.
Approve invoices for payment and support departmental metrics.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree with two years of related experience, or equivalent education and experience.
Aerospace background or aircraft interior industry experience preferred.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and materials specifications.
Proficient in MS Office applications and document management software.
Strong communication, time-management, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to handle physical demands of the role and travel as required.
