Job Posting: Legal Project Coordinator
Location: Bothell, WA Pay Rate: $36-40 per hour
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Legal Project Coordinator to support our legal team with a diverse range of contractual and legal projects. This role will involve legal research, contract management, intellectual property compliance, litigation support, document and agreement drafting, and managing special projects. The ideal candidate will excel at managing and tracking multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery and thorough execution.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Draft, analyze, and review various types of agreements, including customer, supplier, confidentiality, licensing, employment, subscription, and dealership agreements.
Provide support to the Director of Contracts and Contracts Managers during the negotiation and review of agreements.
Assist with assigned programs, including attending weekly meetings, tracking Additional Work Requests (AWRs), and responding to support requests.
Assess potential risks in agreements, propose solutions, and make recommendations to mitigate those risks.
Draft contract, demand, termination, and cease-and-desist letters.
Prepare and maintain contract templates and form agreements.
Manage and maintain contractual chronologies for all active programs.
Review contracts and other legal documents to ensure necessary provisions are included.
Assist in managing the contract management database by adding new agreements and alerting the legal team to expiring agreements.
Initiate the development and execution of new agreements as directed.
Conduct due diligence research by reviewing company and subsidiary contracts.
Coordinate the gathering of information, materials, documents, reports, and evidence for discovery and overall litigation management.
Conduct legal research and analyze case law as requested.
Digest and summarize business and legal documents, preparing summaries for review.
Experience:
2+ years of experience in a related legal or contractual role
Demonstrated ability to develop competence through structured work assignments.
Experience using existing procedures to solve routine or standard problems.
Ability to receive instruction, guidance, and direction from others effectively.
Education:
BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Aircraft interior industry experience and/or paralegal or other legal education is a plus.
