LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Financial Systems Analyst for our client in Bristol, CT. Our client is a leading manufacturer in the industrial products and aerospace industry.

This role is 100% Remote and is a great opportunity to support a high performing team.

This role will start as a contract consultant ($75 to $100 per hour) for at least one year with potential to convert to FTE.

Job Description

A challenging career opportunity exists for someone to join the Financial Systems team as Financial Systems Analyst / Manager at our client. We are seeking a high energy financial systems analyst / manager who will provide guidance and expertise in managing on-going support for applications in our Oracle EPM instance – to include Financial Consolidation & Close, Planning, ARCS, and EDM. The desired candidate would have demonstrable System Administration experience in providing support for consolidations and planning systems. Core Responsibilities:

Administer: end-user support and training; system access request fulfilment; system routines (opening / closing periods, Substitution Variable updates, monthly Oracle upgrade regression testing, etc.) in Oracle EPM Financial Consolidation & Close, Planning, Account Reconciliation, and Enterprise Data Management.

Maintain: business-level and IT general controls; compliance with policies, procedures, and industry best practices; system documentation (including Admin & User guides, business-process diagrams, and system architecture schematics); compliance with data governance policies; existing data flows (Pipelines, Data Management jobs, etc.); personal accountability, integrity, and ethics.

• Enhance: Oracle EPM artifacts, including Forms, Dashboards, Reports (e.g., Narrative Reports and Smart View queries), dimension members (including Calculated Members), and Data Management / Exchange mappings.

Fix: system issues, as required, alongside FIS team members to ensure overall system integrity, performance, and availability.

Partner: with business stakeholders in Finance, Controllership, Operations, IT, and your FIS team members to understand and document business requirements and execute complex and timely implementations.

Analyze: opportunities for system or process enhancements, optimizations, and continuous improvement.

Support: new modules, business processes, technologies, and tasks (as necessary) as system evolves over time.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience supporting enterprise performance management and/or consolidation systems; Oracle EPM or HFM preferred.

• Solid understanding of Essbase (or other multi-dimensional database) concepts.

• Strong computer and analytical skills with ability to provide technical solutions related to financial applications.

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including experience with advanced functions/formulas, Pivot Tables, charts, filtering, etc.

• Thorough understanding of financial statements, financial reporting, consolidations, and FP&A fundamentals.

• The highest degree of personal accountability, integrity, and ethical behavior.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentation and training skills.

• Ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple tasks while working independently or within a team.

• Strong project management skills and/or organizational skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with G/L accounting and ERP systems.

• Familiarity with Oracle Data Management / Data Exchange or other ETL / data integration tools.

• Intermediate Word and PowerPoint skills.

• Experience developing Essbase Business Rules and/or Groovy Scripts and using Calc Manager.

• Knowledge of supporting technologies, including SQL, VBA, Office Scripts, RPA, other RDBMS, SharePoint.

Education Requirements:

• B.S. in Information Systems, General Business, Finance, or Accounting (or similar experience) required.



Pay Details: $75.00 to $100.00 per hour
