LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently partnering with a construction firm to find a skilled Accounts Payable (AP) specialist who is also proficient in Accounts Receivable (AR) and billing processes. This full-time position is based in Broomall, PA, and offers direct employment with the company. This position is fully onsite.

  • Position: Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist with AR and General Accounting Skills

  • Industry: Construction

  • Salary: $55-$65k


  • Role Overview: The AP Specialist will be instrumental in managing financial records and overseeing the accurate and timely processing of payment transactions.


  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full cycle of accounts payable activities including invoice processing, payment disbursement, and vendor communication.

  • Conduct accounts receivable duties such as invoice creation, payment tracking, and resolving discrepancies.

  • Assist with job costing and tracking the expenses associated with each project.

  • Prepare and issue billings related to time and materials for various jobs.

  • Follow up on collections matters and ensure timely receivables.

  • Support the maintenance of the general ledger and contribute to month-end close procedures.


- Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.

  • Minimum of three years of progressive accounting experience.

  • At least one year of experience in the construction industry with job costing expertise.

  • Proficiency in bookkeeping and accounting principles.

  • Ability to prepare financial statements, bills, and invoices with accuracy.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • The ideal candidate will be a proactive, analytical, and adaptable professional with a solid understanding of accounting processes and a commitment to financial excellence.
