Purchasing Specialist

Lee Hecht Harrison Recruitment Solutions (LHH) is partnering with a leading company to fill their open Purchasing Specialist job in Broomfield, CO. To qualify, you must have at least two years of recent, relevant experience in a similar role.

This is a DIRECT HIRE job opportunity where you will earn between $60,000 and $80,000 annually. You will also be eligible for this company’s competitive benefits package (details below).

Responsibilities:

• Sourcing and ordering raw materials, packaging, and consumables

• Negotiating with vendors to secure the most cost-effective pricing and delivery

• Adjusting purchasing to support production needs

• Managing import/export files and processes

• Maintaining inventory levels

• Documenting all inventory and supplier records in the database

• All other related tasks as required

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of recent, relevant experience in a similar role

• Excellent negotiation skills

• Previous experience with import/export processes preferred

• Proficiency with ERP software (Sage preferred)

• Familiarity with cGMP and FDA regulations

• Excellent attention to detail

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Excellent organizational skills

• Excellent analytical skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel preferred

Compensation:

• Annual salary between $60,000 and $80,000
